About our Halibut
Our wild caught halibut portions are skinless, boneless, and very versatile. Halibut’s mild flavor and firm texture mean it can hold up to a variety of cooking methods. Each halibut portion is about 7oz and is meant to serve 1 person.
What makes our Halibut special?
Our Halibut comes from our trusted partners Seth and Chris at Yakobi fisheries in Southeast Alaska. When harvested, our halibut typically weigh between 20-80 lbs and are sustainably caught using long line fishing gear.
What about the health benefits?
Halibut is a naturally lean fish and offers a great source of both potassium and magnesium. The magnesium, along with other nutrients such as omega-3 fatty acids, niacin, and selenium can be good for your heart health.
Why we love it!
Halibut is an extremely versatile fish that can be grilled, pan fried, or baked. Since halibut maintains its shape, it is suitable or any cooking method.
